An East Prairie, Missouri, woman was killed after her vehicle overturned last week in Mississippi County.

At 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, 24-year-old motorist Deanna K. Davidson was traveling north on Route B, four-tenths of a mile south of County Road 416, when her vehicle ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:33 p.m. by Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker. Davidson was transported to Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Davidson's 6-year-old passenger, Madison H. Davidson of East Prairie, suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
