One person was injured in a Friday morning motor vehicle accident at the McDonald's restaurant at 1925 Broadway St. in Cape Girardeau, according to police.
An elderly woman was struck when a driver reversed out of the McDonald's parking lot, a Cape Girardeau Police Department officer at the scene said.
According to the officer, one of the woman's ankles went under a wheel of the vehicle. She was transported to Southeast Missouri Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the officer said.
The incident was under investigation as of 9:50 a.m. Friday but appears to be an accident, according to the officer.
