North Main Street will be closed from Broadway to Themis Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today for Fashion Friday. The event is "a collaborative effort to celebrate fashion, support shopping and highlight local businesses," according to a news release.
Festivities will include live music, artist sketches, refreshments and a red carpet that attendees can walk. Participating stores and vendors include Somewhere in Time Antiques, Reruns, C.P. McGinty Jewelers, Sloan and Themis Co., Pastimes Antiques, Stash, Annie Laurie's Antiques, Philanthropy, Renaissance, Sweet Designs Boutique, Kids Bazaar, Gung-Ho Militaria, Hempies, Annie-Em's at Home, Back Porch Antiques and Collectibles, Judith's Antiques, Hotshots, The Rose Lady of Heartland Roses, Belle Blossoms, Jimmy John's, and Dad's Hotdogs.
