The following information was released by the office of federal prosecutor Catherine Hanaway for defendants who appeared in federal court Monday before U.S. District Judge Jean C. Hamilton.

SENTENCINGS

Name: Rudolph Bramlett

Age: 28

Residence: Perryville, Mo.

Charge: Felon in possession of a firearm

Sentence: 78 months in prison

Details: A Perryville police officer received information that Bramlett had a firearm, which he is forbidden to have due to previous felony convictions. While near Bramlett's home, the officer found a .22-caliber rifle, which Bramlett admitted was his.

Name: Frankie G. Hicks

Age: 44

Residence: Cape Girardeau

Charge: Felon in possession of a firearm

Sentence: 12 months in prison

Details: While arresting Hicks at his home for an unrelated incident, officers found six firearms and ammunition that Hicks admitted were his. He is forbidden to possess firearms due to previous felony convictions.

Name: Michael S. Sheron

Age: 32

Residence: Sikeston, Mo.

Charge: Distribution of crack cocaine

Sentence: 97 months in prison

Details: Sheron admitted to selling 16.3 grams of crack cocaine for $450 to a confidential informant on July 25.

PLEADED GUILTY

Name: Clyde Lockridge Jr.

Age: 28

Residence: Caruthersville, Mo.

Charge: Felon in possession of ammunition.

Sentence range: Up to 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.

Details: Police conducting a search of a room occasionally occupied by Lockridge found ammunition Lockridge admitted was his. Due to a previous felony conviction, he is forbidden to possess ammunition and firearms. He will be sentenced Aug. 28.
