SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Five people were indicted in federal court for allegedly violating immigration laws. The indictments were returned Wednesday and involve three unrelated cases, said Todd P. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Five people were indicted in federal court for allegedly violating immigration laws.

The indictments were returned Wednesday and involve three unrelated cases, said Todd P. Graves, U.S. attorney for the Western District.

In the first case, Sebastian Beltran-Bueno, 34, of Mexico was indicted on being in the United States after deportation. Authorities said Beltran-Buen was the co-driver of tractor-trailer rig at a Newton County weigh station.

In the second case, Victor Torres-Campos, 46, of Mexico was charged with intent to use identification documents.

In the third case, Maurice Saustegui, 38, of Springfield, along with Marcelino Fernandez-Martinez, 40, and Luz Victoria Rosas, 36, both of Mexico, were charged with conspiracy to transfer false resident alien cards.
