ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A second former Missouri governor is now endorsing Hillary Clinton's bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Warren Hearnes announced his support Wednesday, a day after Clinton's come-from-behind win in the New Hampshire primary. Hearnes was elected in 1964 and again four years later.
Bob Holden, who was elected governor in 2000 and served one term, also is supporting Clinton. Others backing the New York senator include former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and Emanuel Cleaver, a congressman from Kansas City.
Clinton's leading opponent for the nomination, Barack Obama, is supported by two St. Louis congressmen, William Lacy Clay and Russ Carnahan, along with St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley.
