ORAN, Mo. -- A former U.S. Postal Service employee will appear in federal court today for allegedly destroying or delaying mail. Lance Kinder, 25, was charged with the felony this week for unlawfully delaying the delivery of a large amount of mail between Aug. 1 and Dec. 5 in Scott County. A document listing the charges says he also allegedly delayed the delivery of mail elsewhere in the Eastern District of Missouri. Assistant U.S. attorney Larry Ferrell said Kinder has been released on $5,000 bond.
