Scenes from a free pizza event Saturday, April 18, 2020, outside First Baptist Church in Scott City, Missouri. The Rev. Jeremy Sells, pastor at First Baptist Church, said there were 300 pizzas for the event which was held in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The main thing we’re wanting to do is to bless our community. To show them that we care. We know that times are tough. We know that things are stressful. People in our community have lost their jobs,” Sells said of the event. “Just an act of kindness is basically what it is.”
