Visiting Nurse Association Hospice of Southeast Missouri honored volunteers during National Volunteer Week April 18 to 24 with gift baskets.

Linda Biggs, hospice volunteer coordinator, honored Cape Girardeau resident John Marshall, a volunteer who is always eager to do what he can to help the terminally ill. He has been a volunteer since 1993. "VNA Hospice depends on volunteers to provide much needed support, comfort and TLC to both the patients and their families. Other volunteers spend countless hours working at our office with various clerical needs," said Biggs.
