I-55 in Scott County goes to one lane

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, north and southbound Interstate 55 between the Route HH overpass and Route C will be reduced to one lane.

MoDOT crews will be doing routine maintenance on the crossovers.

The repairs will be made in the northbound and southbound lanes from Route HH overpass to Route C overpass on I-55.

If the weather cooperates, the work will be done by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

As always, MoDOT asks drivers to use extreme caution while traveling through the area.
