I-57 bridge at Cairo reopens
CAIRO, Ill. -- The Interstate 57 bridge spanning the Mississippi River between Cairo and Charleston, Mo., reopened to traffic at midnight on Thursday. The bridge was closed for three days to allow contractors to make necessary repairs.
