-- Approved the transfer of the Cable Communications Franchise from TCI Cablevision of Missouri, Inc., to Falcon Communications, L.P.

-- Approved a contractual agreement with the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association relative to services provided in administering the promotion of the East/West Highway Project linking Paducah, Ky., and Van Buren.

-- Authorized quarterly payment of $1,250 to the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association for services provided.

Street Committee

-- Amended the Stop Street Schedule to include stop street designations on West Lane at Orchard Drive.

-- Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 4 to consider the rezoning of all the property addressed as 2812 Hilltop Drive and a 3.9-acre tract of land lying to the south of Hilltop Drive from R-2 to C-2.
