Action Items

Power and light committee

• Approved a donation, not to exceed $5,000, to match donations received by the Jackson Chamber of Commerce for the annual Independence Day Celebration fireworks display.

Street committee

• Approved an ordinance accepting the dedication of an Oak Street right of way deed fron Heldermen Apartments LLC regarding the Oak Street Recreation Trail project.
• Approved the use of outdoor loudspeakers between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 16 for a car show at 317 S. High St., as requested by the First Baptist Church.
