Effectively immediately, the snow route proclamation issued yesterday in Jackson has been lifted, according to an email from Jackson Public Works director Rodney Bollinger.

Major streets have been "substantially cleared" by the Street Department, the email said, and residents and businesses can once again park their vehicles on designated snow routes.
