CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Oscar Bonds ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns Saturday in leading Jacksonville State to a 31-21 victory over Eastern Illinois and at least a share of the OVC title.

A 3-yard touchdown run by Bonds was part of a 17-point second quarter for Jacksonville State (8-1, 6-1 Ohio Valley). Raynodd Zeine scored on a 10-yard run and Gavin Hallford added a 28-yard field goal with 10 seconds left to give the Gamecocks a 17-13 halftime lead. Bonds extended the lead on a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Jordan Campanella caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Matt Schabert to bring Eastern Illinois (4-6, 3-4 Ohio Valley) within three points late in the fourth quarter. But Marcus Mitchell sealed the win for the Gamecocks on a 1-yard touchdown run with 35 seconds left.

Schabert completed 27 of 36 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers' loss.
