Kevin Jones, originally of Sikeston, will be coordinating, directing and choreographing 400 of the nation's best collegiate cheerleaders in a section of the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games to be televised on NBC July 19 from Atlanta, Ga.

Jones, now living in Dallas, works for the National Cheerleaders Association. He graduated from Thomas W. Kelly High School. Jones received a degree from Southeast Missouri State University where he cheered and received recognition as a three-time NCA Collegiate All-American Cheerleader.
