Jay B. Knudtson has been promoted to assistant vice president, real estate loan officer at Boatmen's Bank of Cape Girardeau.

Knudtson specializes in residential real estate lending. He has been with Boatmen's as a real estate officer since March of 1990.

Knudtson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he received a bachelor's degree in Individualized Science with emphasis in business, law and marketing. He is also a graduate of the Real Estate School of Banking in Madison, Wis.

Knudtson is a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, Easter Seal Society board, and associate member of the SEMO Home Builders and Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors. He is coach in the Cape Youth Hockey League and is active in the Cape men's softball league.
