Gregg named to praise band at Mobile university

Sam Gregg of Cape Girardeau has been selected for EXIT 13, a new praise band at the University of Mobile. He is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School and the son of Steven and Diane Gregg of Cape Girardeau. Gregg is a music major and a member of Crossroads Fellowship.

Jackson pupils graduate from college of pharmacy

Kara Thoma and Chrissi Glastetter, both of Jackson, graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in May 2005. Thoma was commissioned as a lieutenant with the Public Health Service and is stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, working in Indian health services. Glastetter is doing a pharmacy practice residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Cape Girardeau native earns doctorate

Last summer, James William McGill of Cape Giradeau earned his doctorate from Kansas State.

Nenninger lands Morris fellowship at SIU

Steve A. Nenninger of Jackson will receive a $15,000 Morris Fellowship and free tuition for doctoral study at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale next year. He earned both a bachelor's degree in finance in 1993 and a master of business administration degree in 1999 from Southeast Missouri State University. He is now a full-time instructor at Southeast Missouri State University.
