Jarrod Pullen of Benton, Mo., has been awarded a President's Plus Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. A senior at Scott City High School, he is the son of Darrell and Charmaigne Pullen of Benton.
Cody Edmonds of Jackson has been awarded a University Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. Edmonds is a senior at Jackson High School. He is the son of Jeff Edmonds of Lacey, Wash., and Sheila Edmonds of Jackson.
Renee Essner of Scott City has been awarded a Regents' Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. A senior at Notre Dame Regional High School, she is the daughter of Jerome and Beverly Essner of Scott City.
Nathaniel Todt of Cape Girardeau, Kelsey Seyer of Jackson and Matthew Miller of Scott City have been awarded Missouri Leadership awards to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. In addition, Miller will receive a Boy's State Leadership Award to help with college fees. Todt is a senior at Notre Dame Regional High School. He is the son of Elizabeth Todt of Cape Girardeau and Michael Todt of Wyoming, Ohio. Seyer is a senior at Jackson High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Cindy Seyer of Jackson. Miller is a senior at Scott City High School. He is the son of Gail and Gary Miller of Scott City.

Tanita Steen and Suzzanne Biggerstaff, both of Cape Girardeau, have been awarded General Education Degree scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year.
Truman State University senior Christine Schlosser has been accepted to the Truman In Washington internship program for the summer of 2005. Schlosser, a communication arts/political science major from Cape Girardeau, is one of four Truman students selected for the program.
Local students whose parents have been injured in a work-related accident are eligible for a scholarship from Kids' Chance Inc. of Missouri. The deadline for the scholarship is April 30. Scholarships are contingent on grades, financial needs and other factors. For information, call (800) 484-5733.

Chelsea M. White, daughter of Ken and Susan Frayser of Cape Girardeau, was named to the fall 2004 semester dean's list at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She is a 2004 graduate of Central High School.
James P. Limbaugh II, a senior management major, was named to the fall 2004 dean's list at Quincy University. Limbaugh is the son of James and Emily Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau and is a 2001 graduate of Central High School.
Lee Essner was named to the fall 2004 semester dean's list at Maryville University in St. Louis. He is a graphic design major enrolled in the school of liberal arts and professional programs and the honors program.
