LEGION SEEKS PERFORMERS FOR SHOW

JACKSON -- American Legion Post 158 here is looking for performers for its annual Homecomers talent show Aug. 15 to 19.

First through fourth-place winners each night will win cash prizes of $20, $15, $10 and $5.

Entries for Tuesday will be dancing for ages 6 through 12. Wednesday will be talent other than dancing for ages 6 through 12 and ages 13 through 21. Thursday will be dancing for ages 6 through 12 and ages 13 through 21. Friday will be final competition for all winning groups.

Amateur acts, singers, dancers and instrumentalists are invited, including singles, duets and groups. No piano entries will be accepted.
