American Lending Group, Inc., a lending institution specializing in the purchasing and refinancing of residential mortgages, recently opened a branch office at 125 S. Broadview, Suite 2, in Cape Girardeau.

The lending group, headquartered in St. Charles, Mo., has been providing loan services since 1985, and is a successor of American Financial Services, which was involved in financial planning services since 1980.

American Lending group's primary function is to place mortgage loans through numerous investors across the nation, said Warren W. Arin Kumar, president of the firm.

At this time, the group corresponds with 37 investors, according to Kumar. "This allows us to place a prospective mortgage with a lender who fits borrower's needs."

Kumar adds that the group offers competitive rates and a variety of loan programs.

The lending group is now offering FHA government loans with heavy emphasis on "streamlining" in the nation.

The group also offers financing for investment properties, construction loans and home equity loans as well as "jumbo" loans over $200,000.
