The Cape Girardeau Baptist Association Church Media Library Organization will host an area workshop March 12 at the association's center on Outer Road off Highway 61 North.

The workshop theme is "How to Repair Books and Maintain Audio-visuals." It will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Leader will be Jack Lewis of Nashville, Tenn., a consultant in the Southern Baptist Sunday School Board's church media library program since 1984.

The workshop is open to all media library directors, workers, and anyone who wants to know how to repair books.

Reservations may be made by calling the association office at 334-3511 by 4 p.m. Wednesday, or Adelyn Stuart at 335-7488.

A complimentary lunch will be served by the host group.

A native of West Virginia, Lewis came to the board in 1980 as a consumer sales representative for Broadman Press.

He previously served as minister of education and youth at First Baptist Church in St. Rose, La.; First Baptist Church in Americus, Ga., and minister of education and administration at Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga.

Lewis received a bachelor of arts degree in religious education from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Miss., and master of religious education degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
