L&R VENDING EXPANDS

KELSO -- L&R Vending, headquartered at Kelso, is expanding.

"We have added more than 20 new machines to our inventory," said Laura Glaus. "We're expanding more into the Cape Girardeau area."

Laura and Ron Glaus are owners of the food vending-machine business, which was founded seven years ago.

"We started our business with 15 machines," said Laura Glaus. "We now have 72 machines, and provide service in the Jackson, Benton, Fruitland and Cape Girardeau areas."

The operation, which features sandwich, snack, candy and soda machines, is a family business.

"Our children David Glaus and Kristie Glaus are in the business with us," she said.
