A Sikeston, Missouri, man faces multiple charges after allegedly threatening his father during a domestic violence incident in Morley, Missouri.

James Dylan Revelle, 21, on Friday was arrested and charged with first-degree misdemeanor trespassing, felony second-degree domestic assault, felony unlawful use of a weapon and felony delivery or concealment of a controlled substance into a jail, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff's Department.

Senior deputy Matt Scroggins was called to an incident at a home in Morley early Friday morning.

The investigation yielded evidence that Revelle unlawfully entered his father's home after being told not to several times, according to the release. Revelle remained at the property after being told to leave.

The release says father and son were in the front yard when Revelle allegedly produced a knife and threatened to "cut his father's throat." His father went back inside, and Revelle attempted to kick in the front door, according to the release.

Scroggins arrested Revelle and asked if he had anything illegal on him prior to going to the Scott County Jail; Revelle said he did not, the release states. However, a small amount of marijuana was found in Revelle's wallet, according to the release.

Revelle remains in custody on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
