CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A Charleston man was arrested in Michigan last week in connection with a fatal nightclub shooting. Devonte Johnson, 18, was arrested in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Thursday, according to Charleston Department of Public Safety director Robert Hearne. CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A Charleston man was arrested in Michigan last week in connection with a fatal nightclub shooting.

Devonte Johnson, 18, was arrested in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Thursday, according to Charleston Department of Public Safety director Robert Hearne. Johnson waived extradition and was returned to Missouri, where he faces charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held without bond in the Mississippi County Jail.

Nicholas A. Munn, 28, of Sikeston was shot about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 13 in the parking lot of Bro's Kickin' Nightclub on West Marshall Street in Charleston. The Charleston Department of Public Safety investigated the incident, with the help of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
