HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Nearly three years after bail bondsman Charlie Hoskins was found stabbed to death in his northeast Missouri home on Christmas Eve morning, 1998, a man has been arrested for the killing.

Aaron John Miles Fix has been charged with first-degree murder, Ralls County Sheriff Ben Berghager said.

Fix, a former Hannibal resident in his early 20s, was living in Splendora, Texas, where he was arrested Friday.

The sheriff did not discuss a motive in the case, nor did he say whether additional arrests were possible.
