According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 46-year-old Calvin E. Cutler was westbound on Missouri 162, about three miles west of Portageville, Mo., around 1 a.m., when he lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet and struck a guardrail.
Authorities said Cutler was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken from the scene to Delisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
