Man sent to hospital after striking fence near Old Appleton

A Perryville man was injured after his vehicle struck a fence near Old Appleton late Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Daniel P. Taylor, 23, was driving his 2007 Roketa westbound on County Road 506 around 10 p.m. The vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Taylor, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center, where he was treated for moderate injuries.
