Police said the friends had been drinking early Monday when an argument broke out. The victim, suffering from a small puncture to his right shoulder and scratches on the left side of his neck, walked to a police station to report that his friend had stabbed him with a small folding pocket knife.

The victim declined treatment. His friend was arrested and cited for assault.
