ZALMA -- A 16-year-old Marble Hill youth was seriously injured Sunday morning when the car he was driving ran off Route H about two miles north of here.
Shane Morgan was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by Air Evac after the 5:25 a.m. accident.

A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said Morgan's car ran off the right shoulder of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
He was in critical condition in the surgical intensive care unit at St. Francis Medical Center Sunday night, a medical center spokesman said.
