ARAB -- A McGee man was killed early Friday when his vehicle ran off Highway P and overturned several times.
Garry McCain, 42, was ejected from his vehicle during the 5:30 a.m. accident, a spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said. The accident occurred 7 miles west of Arab.
The spokesman said McCain fell asleep at the wheel.
In a separate accident, 37-year-old Tammy Butler of Marquand sustained serious injuries Saturday morning when the vehicle she was riding in overturned on Highway HH near Patton.
She was airlifted to St. Francis Medical Center after the 9:35 a.m. accident.
Butler, who was airlifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Buffy Butler, 22, of Marquand. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a Fredericktown hospital.
