Miss Jackson, Christina Heckenkamp, will be available for speaking engagements on May 24, 25, 26 and 27.
Heckenkamp is a junior at Truman State University and will represent Jackson at the Miss Missouri Scholarship Pageant this June.
She is a sociology major and plans to pursue a masters in education and become a junior high school counselor. Her platform (area of community service) for the Miss Missouri Program is eating disorders -- awareness and education.
In presenting a program to your group, she can speak on her involvement with educating the public on eating disorders. She can also speak about her experiences in the pageant system and the Miss America Scholarship Program. She will answer questions from the audience and tailor her speech to your group's needs.
Heckenkamp would like to visit with as many Jackson area civic groups and schools as she can during her time in Jackson.
To contact for scheduling a program: Marybeth Williams, P.O. Box 85, Jackson, Mo., 63755, or call 243-4676.
