MORLEY -- The Morley Community Betterment Club will sponsor the town's annual Fall Festival Sept. 8 and 9. Activities begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the city park. A number of pageants are planned Sept. 8. They include a cutest-baby contest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., a Tiny Mr. and Miss Morley contest at 6:30 p.m., a Little Mr. and Miss Morley contest at 7:30 p.m., Junior Miss Morley contest at 8:30 p.m., and Miss Morley contest at 9:30 p.m. A baby crawling contest will also be held Friday...

MORLEY -- The Morley Community Betterment Club will sponsor the town's annual Fall Festival Sept. 8 and 9.

Activities begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the city park.

A number of pageants are planned Sept. 8. They include a cutest-baby contest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., a Tiny Mr. and Miss Morley contest at 6:30 p.m., a Little Mr. and Miss Morley contest at 7:30 p.m., Junior Miss Morley contest at 8:30 p.m., and Miss Morley contest at 9:30 p.m. A baby crawling contest will also be held Friday.

Saturday pageants include the Tiny Mr. and Miss Fall Festival at 12:30 p.m., the Junior Miss Fall Festival at 1:30 p.m. and the Miss Fall Festival at 2:30 p.m.

Entry fees for all pageants except Miss Morley are $5. Registration will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Morley City Hall. On Sept. 9 the pageants are open to contestants from the area, not just the city of Morley. For more information contact Lesa Mason at (314) 262-3243.

Events begin Sept. 9 at 11;30 a.m. with a parade. For information about the parade and floats contact Teresa Conn at (314) 262-2329 or 262-3039.

Other festival events Sept. 9 include a petting zoo, pony rides, bicycle-decorating contest, watermelon toss and seed-spitting contest, a clown performance at 3:30 p.m., gospel music concert at 4:30 p.m., and square dancing at 5:30 p.m.. An auction begins at 6:30 p.m.

A dance will be held at 9 p.m. Sept. 9 at the VFW Hall. Music will be provided by Karaoke.
