Missouri Preservation will announce the list of Missouri's Most Endangered Historic Places at 1 p.m. today, according to a news release.

The announcement will be made at the Henry Miller House, 106 Cape Road in Bloomfield, Mo., with a reception immediately afterward at the Oliver-Leming House, 740 North St. in Cape Girardeau.

The announcement will call attention to threatened historic resources in Missouri. Nominees for the list are submitted statewide and chosen for reasons such as deterioration, neglect and potential demolition, among others.
