Mystery solved! Published Dec. 28, 1963: Loving thoughts and many hard candies, each individually wrapped, went into these 36 colorful red and white wreathes, some bowed in green, some in red, for Christmas giving at the Cape County Training Center for Handicapped Children. A project of the Woman's Auxiliary to the Cape Girardeau County Medical Society, the task entailed numerous hours of work by the committee. At left, Mrs. Melvin C. Kasten and Mrs. Harold Ridings, third from left, make ready to start other wreaths for the wind-up of the project in the home of Mrs. Frank Hall, chairman committee. Others art work are Mrs. George Magaletta, seated between Kasten and Ridings, Hall, standing, and Mrs. Thomas Lovinggood.
