We need your help to identify some old photographs that G.D. Fronabarger took. His organizational skills left much to be desired, and we are left with a lot of unanswered questions. These pretty girls primped in a makeshift dressing room as they prepared for the bathing suit competition at a SEMO District Fair beauty contest. From Jean Freeman: "Back row, 2nd to left is Gloria Sue Baker. First person, first row is Rita Williams. They were from Cape. The others I don't know or can't see well enough to know who they are. Gloria Sue Baker graduated with me at Central High, Class of '62."

From Jamie Burger, Scott County Presiding Commissioner: "The three men by the large downed tree. Standing on tree Danny Burger from New Hamburg, Mo. Man in the middle Alex Burger Jr., on his left Alex Burger Sr., both are deceased.
Picture taken around 1960 or so, south of Lone Star cement, possibly in Diversion Channel floodway. Keep posting old pictures, enjoyable."
