In July, Branson officials refused to grant Dunn a special permit to host an open-air Nelly concert behind the Grand Palace Theater, citing noise and parking issues.

Dunn appealed to the Branson Board of Aldermen, which sided with the city. Dunn took his case to the circuit court, where a judge also ruled in the city's favor.

On Friday, Dunn told The Springfield News-Leader that the management of the Mansion Theater said they were happy to host the Nelly concert. But he said ticket sales have been slow because of the venue uncertainty.
