Activity Week at Notre Dame Regional High School brought in its largest-ever total, with more than $286,000 raised.
The money will be put toward the overall budget, tuition assistance, facility upgrades, the theater program and the grounds.
Brother David Anthony Migliorino, principal of the Catholic school off Route K in Cape Girardeau, said this year’s amount exceeds last year’s by $22,000.
“I’m over the moon, and the spirit in the building (last week) was incredible,” he said.
Seniors raised the most during the week of dinners, bake sales and service activities, at $138,649.49.
Juniors came in next with $51,775.72, freshmen with $56,928.82 and sophomores with $39,189.52.
Migliorino said he is indebted to everyone who participated.
“I can’t thank people enough,” he said.
