The Southeast Missourian asked students at Jackson High School about the Lady Indians basketball team qualifying for the Class 4A Final Four at Columbia for the fourth straight year. The team will play defending-state champion Gateway Tech on Friday.

Tara York: "I think it's wonderful. We couldn't do it without our coach, players and especially our fans, because they help us out a lot."

Matt Smith: "I think it's great. They have been working really hard. They are practicing all the time. It's just the hard work that does it."

Kaitlin Crites: "I know how much the players have been putting into it with the early practices. I think it's the coaching and the girls who strive to be the best they can be."

Dean Bucher: "We have had a great set of teams, and the girls and coaches are doing a really good job. They are very aggressive, and they have a lot of heart and spirit."

Craig Bohnsack: "I think it's great once again that the Jackson Indians are able to go up to state. It's great coaching and cooperation. They are playing as a team and giving 100 percent."
