This week the Southeast Missourian asked, "Considering the recent cloning of a sheep and a monkey, how do you feel about the possibility of cloning people?"

"I think it's not a good idea at all. You have all these health problems that would come up. You have to get out all the bugs. Of course you're going to need some kind of test to use. It's like using humans for guinea pigs. We have enough trouble getting here in this world already so why are you going to clone us?"

"I don't think they should do it. I don't even think they should try. I think they're playing God."

"I don't know, I just think it's kind of strange. Doing it to animals is kind of different I guess. I don't know, it's just strange. I don't think that it's possible."

"Cloning people could be dangerous, but maybe cloning organs would be nice to transplant. You jump into a very ethical question when you clone people and right now I just don't think society is ready for it. We would have to become a more advanced society."
