BENTON, Mo. -- An Oran, Missouri-area man was arrested over the weekend for tampering with farm equipment.

Glen David Adams, 55, is charged with felony tampering and misdemeanor first-degree trespassing.

At approximately 12:20 p.m. Saturday, Scott County deputy Danny Finley and Corporal Justin Wooten responded to 1824 Highway 250 in reference to stealing.

The complainant told Finley that Adams had taken his John Deere 9400 combine from a storage facility on the property and started down the driveway, where the complainant confronted him. After the confrontation, Adams returned the combine to the storage area.

Finley observed Adams walking south across a field toward his own home nearby.
