PADUCAH, Ky. -- The Paducah Symphony Orchestra will host the third of its popular "Paducah Pops" Concerts on Saturday, June 18, at Keiler Field, a soccer arena behind Symphony Hall in Paducah.
The Paducah Pops will welcome the Dukes of Dixieland at this concert. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. There will be live dinner music from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 8 p.m.
Tables will be available for those wishing to have a catered meal or bring their own picnic baskets. There will also be "grass roots" tickets for those who prefer to relax in their lawn chairs, blankets or in the bleachers.
In addition to the Symphony and Dukes of Dixieland, the evening will include festive events such as a table decorating contest to select the "best coordinated table and costumes," the "most bizarre" table and the "best of show."
A raffle to pick someone from the audience to conduct the orchestra will also be held.
