A Farmington, Mo., man was killed Thursday after being struck by a vehicle.

David Terry, 81, was killed Thursday afternoon after attempting to cross Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County just east of Route AA.

Terry was crossing the road from the left side when a car driven by Donna Lee, 45, of Farmington, steered to the right to avoid hitting him. Terry was hit by the vehicle on its driver side.

Terry was taken to Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.

A New Madrid woman was injured Thursday morning when she ran off the road and hit a highway sign before traveling into a ditch.

Anaise Green, 19, was injured in the accident on U.S. 61 at Route U in New Madrid County. She was treated for injuries at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
