G.D. Fronabarger left the Missourian boxes and boxes of negatives. What he didn't leave were IDs for them. Pictures of the Past features some of Frony's images we've partially identified. Eddie and Vi Keys opened their first music store in Cape Girardeau on Main Street. Later, it was moved to Broadway and Spanish streets. Can you tell us which store this is? Kathy Pledger wrote: "It sure looks like Vi Keys when they were on Main Street. I took piano lessons there."

These men appear to be examining an artist's concept for a new Marquette Cement Mfg. Co. in South Cape. Audrey Crafton wrote: "The man on the far left is my dad's cousin, William Lawrence Crafton. His friends called him 'Eel.'"

All of these business men are unidentified. Can you put a name to a face? Gerald Johnson wrote: "Sitting on left is Tom Dietiker, photographer. Against the wall is the manager of JCPenney's; next David Graves, manager of Montgomery Ward. In the very back corner with bow tie, Rush H. Limbaugh Sr., prominent Cape lawyer. To Mr. Limbaugh's right at table is Jack Kohrumel of KGMO."

Dewey Nussbaum called in to correct an earlier identification. He said this photo was of the opening of Cape State Bank on Kingshighway in 1961. Officers and directors of the bank were, seated left to right: John Hale, vice president; Dewey Keller, president; attorney Jack Oliver, secretary, and Weldon Macke. Standing are Robert Erlbacker, (unknown), Charles Harris, John Wescoat, Dr. John Crowe, H.E. Poe, Joe Quatman and M. Luther Hahs.
