Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Dustin T. Smith, 18, 1206 Perkins St., Scott City, was arrested for probation violation related to a DWI conviction.

* A subject was in custody facing filing of charges for second-degree domestic assault.

* A warrant was issued for the arrest of Shakia S. McCain, 21, 502 Bondurant, Charleston, Mo., for contempt of court for assault.

* Samuel E. Sexton, 58, 23914 County Road 526, Bloomfield, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in the appropriate lane.

* Stephen J. Modde, 21, 237 N. EllisSt., was arrested suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in the appropriate lane. Modde was also cited for disturbing the peace along with Douglas M. Sicking, 20, 237 N. Ellis St.

* A 49-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Clemmie Lee Lane, 33, 315 Mason St., was arrested pending filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

Theft

* A VCR tape was reported stolen from 401 S. Pacific St. * Condensing units were reported stolen from 502 Broadway.

* A 1987 Honda Spree Moped, brown and silver, was reported stolen from 618 Woodbine Place.

Property Damage

* The landscaping at 325 Edgewood St. was reported damaged.

Jackson

The Jackson Department released the following items Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Kelly Abbott, 40, 2627 Mansfield Place, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

* A 15-year-old boy was referred to juvenile detention Tuesday on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree assault.
