The Cape Girardeau Central Municipal Pool will be open from 1-8 p.m. Friday for a public session.

Randy Barnhouse, Cape Girardeau's aquatics supervisor, said that typically, students use the pool during the week, but are out of school Friday due to a regional teachers conference.
Barnhouse also announced that the pool's third session of classes will begin Monday. For more information, call 335-4040 or 335-5421.
