The Historic Preservation Association of Southeast Missouri State University will hold its annual banquet March 18 at the Port Cape Girardeau River City Yacht Club.

The social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30.

The event is open to the public. The buffet dinner will cost $12 a person. Reservations are requested and can be made by contacting the Center for Regional History at (314) 651-2555 by March 3.

Martin Meyer, an architect from Quincy, Ill., will discuss his role in the restoration of the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse in Hannibal.

The Arthur H. Mattingly Award also will be presented.
