Three-vehicle accident results in two injuries

A three-vehicle accident on state Highway 74 in Dutchtown resulted in two local women being taken to Saint Francis Medical Center, both with moderate injuries. The accident occurred at noon Wednesday, when a 1989 Toyota driven by Kathy Crader, 54, of Delta, Mo., crossed the center line and sideswiped a 1981 International tractor-trailer driven by Mark Reitzet, 35, of Whitewater, then struck a 2002 Pontiac driven by Amanda Eftink, 21, of Oran, Mo. Crader and Eftink were both taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Advance man receives injuries after crashing ATV

ADVANCE, Mo. -- An Advance, Mo., man driving an all-terrain vehicle sustained moderate injuries on Bollinger County Road 530, five miles east of Zalma, Mo. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Kevin Holder, 48, lost control of his 1999 Yamaha ATV, overturned in the roadway and was ejected. Holder was flown to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by Arch Helicopter.
