"Let All Heaven Rejoice" musical at 7 p.m. at Cape First Assembly. Reserved seating is required but tickets are free by calling the church office at 334-4421.

"Upon this Rock" Easter pageant performance at 7 p.m. at Lynwood Baptist Church. Childcare is provided for children up to age 3 with a reservation. Call 334-4600 for information.

Sunday

Palm Sunday passion observance at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. John J. Leibrecht, bishop of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese.

Blessing of the palms and procession during the 10:15 a.m. service at Christ Episcopal Church.

Benji Mallory will be the guest speaker during the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services at Abundant Life Church.

Spring dinner served family style from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph parish in Scott City. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children 6-12.

Ninth anniversary celebration at New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church at 3 p.m. The Rev. John Goff will be the guest speaker.

Maundy Thursday observed with Lord's Supper and stripping of the altar at 7 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church.

Way of the Cross Walk at noon through downtown. The ecumenical event is sponsored by the Downtown Council of Churches and participants should gather at the Riverfront Park on Themis Street.

Good Friday service at 6 p.m. at Red Star Baptist Church.

Good Friday observance with service of prayer and solemn collection at 7 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church.
