River Campus unveils its 18th season with standout performances like "Oklahoma!" and Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Season tickets are available in five packages, offering diverse and affordable options.

Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus has announced its 2024-25 season, featuring an array of performances. Highlights of the season include the musical “Oklahoma!” and a special performance by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.

This is the 18th River Campus season and it promises patrons a variety of visual and performing arts events, showcasing the talents of SEMO’s departments of music, art and design, The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance, and Crisp Museum, according to a news release.

Season tickets are on sale and offer a variety of packages sponsored by local businesses. There are five packages — EBO MD Symphony Package, Commerce Bank Theatre & Dance Package; Saint Francis Healthcare System Special Events Package; The Holland College Master Package; and River Campus All-Access Package.

The EBO MD Symphony Package

This $119 package includes four Southeast Symphony performances and a special performance by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra:

  • Tuesday, Oct.15 — Gala Season Opener;
    • Wednesday, Oct. 30 —- Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra;
    • Tuesday, Dec. 3 — Gerald Finzi’s, “In Terra Pax”;
    • Tuesday, March 4 — Symphonic Pops;
    • Tuesday, April 29 — Leonard Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms”.

    The Commerce Bank Theatre & Dance Package

    This $116 package includes choice of dates for six performances:

    n Thursday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 29 — “Noises Off”;

    n Thursday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 17 — “Oklahoma”;

    n Thursday, Feb 6, through Sunday, Feb.9 — Winter Dance Collection;

    n Thursday, Feb 27, through Sunday, March 2 — “Girlhood”;

    n Thursday, April 10, through Sunday, April 13 — “Into the Woods”;

    n Thursday, April 24, through Sunday, April 27 — “Godspell”.

    The Saint Francis Healthcare System Special Events Package

    This $43 package includes three events:

    n Friday, Dec. 6, or Saturday, Dec. 7 — Big Band Holiday Jukebox (choice of date);

    n Friday, Feb. 14 — Clark Terry Jazz Concert;

    n Friday, May 2 — Celebrate the Arts.

    The Holland College Master Package

    This $278 package includes everything in the Theatre & Dance Package, Symphony Package and Special Events Package, and bonus events:

    n Thursday, Oct. 3 — Southeast Choir’s All Together Now;

    n Friday, Jan 17, or Sunday, Jan. 19 — Opera Theatre’s "Hansel and Gretel" (choice of date).

    The River Campus All Access Package

    This $421 package includes tickets to the Theatre & Dance Package, Symphony Package and Special Event Packages, plus all other ticketed events.

    Those looking for individual tickets may purchase them starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Tickets may be purchased through the River Campus box office, located in the Cultural Arts Center at 518 S. Fountain St. The box office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (573) 651-2265 or online at www.RiverCampus.org.
